STAND OUT STANDS HISENSE Hisense focused on the upcoming FIFA World Cup – of which the company is a key sponsor. The company had its latest Series 8 and Series 9 ULED televisions on show at the stand, all of which were showing clips of past soccer matches, anticipating the excitement of the 2018 FIFA tournament in Russia. Soccer balls mounted on poles guided delegates to the heart of the stand which was dominated by a giant screen showing non-stop soccer action. LG ELECTRONICS The pavilion of one of IFA’s biggest exhibitors, LG Electronics, was divided into three main areas where visitors had the opportunity to see the latest LG Innovations. A striking OLED tunnel led to the stand – where, at the start of the week, the company launched the new LG smartphone, accompanied by a spectacular, immersive and multi-sensorial presentation that few who were there will ever forget. The stand’s Premium Living area showed innovative appliances in a stunning, futuristic dining and kitchen space. 18

SONY The Sony stand at IFA 2017 had a futuristic feel, with a central line of bright, white illuminated blocks on which is displayed a range of new Sony products. Highlights included the Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact and XA1 Plus smartphones. All the three smartphones come with Sony’s Triluminous and X-reality display technology. Sony also launched the RX0 1.0 ultra compact camera, offering highspeed continuous shooting, super slow motion, and a tough, body that is waterproof, shockproof and crushproof. CHANGHONG Changhong is one of China’s leading exporters of consumer electronics and home appliances, and its stand was designed to reflect the range of its products. Situated at the heart of Hall 25, the company’s bold red brand was easy to spot as visitors walked through. At the heart of the display was the company’s impressive wallpaper TV.
