NEWS Turkish Appliance Suppliers Team-Up for IFA The Electrical Electronics and Services Exporters' Association is leading Turkey’s National Participation Organisation once again this year. All told, 15 white goods industry companies are participating in this year’s Turkish Pavilion. This year the Turkish Pavilion will host a reception on September 5th, 2016 to honour the Turkish National Participation Team. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the Turkish Embassy, Turkish Minister of Economy, and deputies and representatives from Turkish Parliament–as well as executives from Turkish and foreign companies Hall 27 Stand 260 Vestel Licenses Toshiba Consumer TV Brand for Europe Toshiba Visual Solutions Corporation announced at its IFA press conference a strategic brand license agreement with Turkish TV set manufacturer Vestel. The agreement, which centres around the production and sales of Toshiba-branded consumer TVs in the European market, was announced in Berlin by Atsushi Murasawa, president of Toshiba Visual Solutions, and Vestel CEO, Turan Erdogan. The agreement will come into effect after obtaining consents of respective authorities. Under the agreement, Vestel will be responsible for the Grundig Introduces Homewhiz… and a Plethora of New Products Grundig boasting a full suite of consumer electronics and premium appliances, hosted a retinue of international media during an IFA press conference focused on the company’s “three pillars of innovation”: technology, design and CSR. The brand has launched a new range of connected home products: the Grundig Smart Home, which offers a future vision of a connected living room, laundry and kitchen; and the Grundig Homewhiz, which ensures www.ifa-international.org production, sales, marketing, and supply-chain functions in the European market for Toshiba-branded TVs while working closely with Toshiba’s research and development division.
